Wenatchee's Numerica Performing Arts Center has a new leader.

J. Woody Lotts has been a tour manager and a producer at theaters in Seattle, and is moving from the west side to be Numerica's Executive Producer.

Numerica President Mike Salman says Lotts brings the right qualifications for the job in Wenatchee.

"His passion, his creativity and a good business sense," said Salmon. "Woody will be the face of the PAC. He is a great leader, and he will bring a lot of expertise."

Numerica says Lotts is a veteran producer of the type of shows it brings to Wenatchee, such as concerts, theater and national touring shows.

Lotts is finalizing his move to Wenatchee from Seattle suburb Lake Forest Park. He's been a tour manager at Book-It Repertory Theatre as well as a producer for the Driftwood Players Theatre and Phoenix Theatre, all in the Seattle area.

The Numerica Performing Arts Center seats 550 people, and is a community-supported nonprofit operation.
