Patriot Night Under the Lights Proceeding Without Fireworks This Year

The Kittitas Valley Events Center announced that their Patriot Night Under the Lights celebration this Sunday will go on, but not include fireworks.

In a Facebook post, they said after discussing with our local valued fire officials we have decided to cancel the annual Fireworks Show.

The Joe Nichols concert is still moving forward in the Rodeo Arena.

The Events Center says they hope next year they will be able to bring back the fireworks for the Patriot Night celebration.
