Sexual Misconduct, Intoxication Reasons for Suspension of Two Local Healthcare Workers

The Washington State Department of Health is announcing it has suspending the licenses of two local healthcare workers for misconduct.

According to the department, the secretary of health indefinitely suspended the license of Chelan County radiologic technologist Melinda Garcia in September. She had allegedly been intoxicated at work the previous December and failed to answer the allegations in time.

In August of this year, the license of Grant County chiropractor Richard L Ribellia was suspended for multiple counts of unprofessional conduct, improper documentation of care, and sexual misconduct. The State Health Department says Ribellia touched several patients in an inappropriate manner and unnecessarily exposed patients’ breasts while conducting examinations.
