State Patrol Now Looking for Witnesses to Alleged Hit And Run Crash Near East Wenatchee

The Washington State Patrol is now looking for witnesses to what they're calling a fatal hit and run crash.

Troopers went to the scene of the reported hit and run at about 5:45 am Sunday on SR 28 south of East Wenatchee, where they found a pedestrian who died at the scene.

The car thought to be involved in the crash, a 2003 dark colored BMW 4-door wagon, was found disabled less than an hour later on NW Cascade Avenue just south of SR 2.

The driver was arrested for Felony Hit and Run, and troopers are now looking for witnesses to the crash or anyone with information about the crash and identification of the pedestrian.
