Two Wenatchee men charged in the murder of a man last month on Methow Street in Wenatchee are pleading not guilty.

Andrew Francis Morrow is suspected of killing 21-year-old David Lomeli-Vasquez in a drive-by shooting April 18.

He entered a not guilty plea Wednesday to second-degree murder, drive-by shooting and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Detectives do not think the other suspect, Benito Eduardo Licea, pulled the trigger. They do think he was in the Mercury Grand Marquis when Morrow opened fire while driving by a 1995 Honda Accord driven by Lomeli.

Licea is charged with second-degree murder and drive-by shooting in the case. He pleaded not guilty Monday.

Morrow is in Chelan County Jail with bail set at $2 million, while Licea in the same lock-up with a $1 million bail.

Licea’s trial date is set for June 21. Morrow’s trial is set for July 5.
