Traffic Stops Leads To More Than A Kilogram of Drugs
A joint investigation involving the Moses Lake Police Department's Street Crimes Unit led to a large drug seizure Wednesday afternoon.
According to Captain David Sands, 38-year-old Selena Flores was arrested after a traffic stop. She was found to be in possession of a kilogram of dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a small amount of meth and a shotgun.
The investigation also involved Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Postal Service and Customs and Border Patrol.
Flores was released from custody pending additional investigation.
