Two Ritzville Residents Arrested in Moses Lake on Drug Charges

Moses Lake Police officers arrested two Ritzville residents Tuesday on drug charges after they were found passed out in a car that was parked illegally.

Law enforcement came across the vehicle on Stratford Road, parked in the handicap stall in front of an open business. 25-year-old Taylor Hermsmeier and 19-year-old Cassandra Rand were passed out with heroin and associated paraphernalia visible in the vehicle.

The officers further discovered that the two were wanted on federal warrants for drug charges.

The two were placed into custody.
