U-Haul is offering 30 days of free self-storage for any resident that has had to evacuate or otherwise has been impacted by wildfires.

In a press release announcing the option, Southwestern Washington President Dan Flatten said, "Evacuation orders are creating an immediate need for secure self-storage options where people can bring their valued possessions."

U-Hauls in Yakima, Pasco and Spokane are among those that have been made available for the free, temporary service.
