VIDEO: Injured Hiker Rescued from Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area

The King County Sheriff's office and their Air Support Team assisted Kittitas County Sheriff's Deputies in getting an injured hiker to a hospital after the man severely injured his ankle Wednesday.

The incident happened in a remote part of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness when two hikers came across the injured man.

They were unable to help him, so they went to where there was cell service and called 911.

The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office asked for assistance which was provided by King County.
