Wenatchee Valley College students have until May to apply for emergency grants after the college received $3.9 million in American Rescue Plan funds. The funding is earmarked for students who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"All enrolled students are eligible including our Running Start students, adult basic education, the workforce program, continuing education or undocumented students," said Libby Siebens, community relations executive director.

The maximum grant award is $3,000 per student and are not considered a loan, meaning students will not have to pay back the grant amount.
