Wenatchee Valley College Trustees Take First Steps in President Search
The Wenatchee Valley College Board of Trustees will turn to the college's employees as it moves forward in its search for a replacement for College President Jim Richardson.
Board President Tamra Jackson said the board determined during a special meeting Tuesday that the college will conduct two listening sessions in Wenatchee and Omak in February that will only be open to WVC employees.
"There will only be two trustees at each of these meetings, so it is not an open public meeting," stated Jackson.
During the meeting the board took public comment, weighed the pros and cons of conducting an internal or external search, and discussed the search committee.
Richardson plans to retire June 30th.
