Apple Blossom Auction Pushed Back to 2021

The Washington State Apple Blossom Board of Directors announced Wednesday that their Annual Fundraising Auction, originally scheduled for October 24th, has been postponed to January 23rd, 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Administrator Darci Christoferson stated that she is looking forward to working with sponsors and volunteers this fall to plan for the 2021 auction, royalty program and the 102nd Apple Blossom Festival.

Christoferson said, "January will be kind of a crazy time because we will be choosing our Top 10, and then having an auction, and then going right into our pageant. But that's O.K.; we'll make it work."

Single tickets as well as tables for the auction can be purchased by going to www.appleblossom.org or by calling 509-662-3616. Christoferson added that they are also looking for people willing to donate items to the auction.

The 102nd Apple Blossom Festival is set to be held April 22nd through May 2nd, 2021.
