Following the recommendations of the Chelan Douglas Health District, the Governor’s Office and Washington State Department of Health, Pangborn Memorial Airport officials decided to cancel Aviation Day last week.

Regional Port Authority Director of Airports Trent Moyers said it was a tough decision.

"Just out of that abundance of caution we've gone ahead and cancelled for this year unfortunately." Moyers explained, "We look forward to bringing it back again next year."

Aviation Day had been scheduled for June 13th.
