Cascade Medical Foundation Starts Campaign for Mobile Clinic

Cascade Medical Foundation has kicked off a campaign to raise money for a new mobile clinic with plans to match up to $20,000 in order to reach the goal of $40,000. The campaign is running until the end of September.

The mobile clinic would provide vital services like general wellness, mental health, chronic care, x-rays, labs and social services.

"The reason we are pursuing this is because we need to serve our underserved neighbors," said Clint Strand, director of public relations. "Those that maybe can't or it's hard to seek care because of transportation or live in our outlying communities and a challenge to get to our physical clinic."

The $40,000 only represents a portion of the start up costs for the mobile clinic. Cascade Medical is also pursuing grant funds for the remaining 84% of those costs.
