Central Washington Hospital Nearing Capacity

The Chelan-Douglas Health District says Central Washington Hospital is among the 38 hospitals across the state that are at or near capacity with non-COVID related injuries or illness.

According to a press release, Central is at 98% capacity but housing only seven patients battling coronavirus.

There has been a steady increase in non-COVID hospitalizations since the middle of the pandemic.

They are asking anyone recreating this weekend to be cautious.
