Chelan County Public Works and Department of Transportation crews will be inspecting four bridges Monday and Tuesday.

While inspections are underway, traffic will be reduced to one lane on the impacted bridges, with flaggers directing traffic.

The inspection will use what is called an Under Bridge Inspection Truck, or UBIT, to look for cracks, rust and other deficiencies along its sides and underneath it.

Crews will be at Ardenvoir, Monitor, Peshastin and Cottage Avenue bridges.

Here's the full schedule with approximate times.

  • Ardenvoir Bridge (Mad River Road): Noon on Monday, Aug. 16.
  • Monitor Bridge (Main Street): 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16
  • Peshastin Bridge (Main Street): 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17
  • Cottage Avenue Bridge in Cashmere: 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17
