Chelan County Sheriff’s Office Looking for Young Burglary Suspects

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in identifying three youths who broke into the Lake Chelan School District Office Wednesday, causing minor damage while stealing some items.

Chief Jason Reinfeld said cameras showed three younger white males entering the building around 3:30 Wednesday morning, possibly through an unlocked or open window.

"The schools did not recognize the suspects in this, so we're looking to the public." said Reinfeld, "If anybody does have any information or can recognize these individuals, they can call (509) 667-6845, which is the Sheriff's Office tip line, to relay that information to us."

Reinfeld added that the subjects could face charges including misdemeanor malicious mischief and theft, and felony burglary.
