Cold Springs Survivors Released From Hospital

The couple who lost both their children in the Cold Springs Canyon Fire and almost died themselves were finally discharged from a Seattle Hospital Friday, three months after the incident.

According to our news partner iFIBER ONE, 31-year-old Jake and 26-year-old Jamie Hyland appeared in good spirits while spending time with extended family this week. They both were being treated for extensive third-degree burns after a harrowing flight from the September fire in Okanogan County.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
