Eight People Arrested in Sex Trafficking Sting by Othello and Moses Lake Police
Eight people face charges following a Human Sex Trafficking Demand Reduction Sting in Othello.
Officers say they prioritized the operation after receiving information that individuals were traveling to Othello thinking police did not have the resources to act against sex trafficking.
Othello Police say they conducted the operation in partnership with the Moses Lake PD Street Crimes Unit.
They say the sting targeted people seeking to pay a young adult female for sex.
All those arrested were charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, while one was also charged with Promoting Prostitution in the 2nd Degree.

Marciano Laureano-Luis (24) of Othello – Patronizing a Prostitute
Rigoberto Salazar-Pineda (28) of Othello – Patronizing a Prostitute
Federico Ginez-Rafael (31) of Othello – Promoting Prostitution 2nd Degree & Patronizing a Prostitute
Victor Silva-Gonzalez (34) of Othello – Patronizing a Prostitute
John O’Brien (53) of Tacoma – Patronizing a Prostitute
Javier Maldonado-Faustino (25) of Othello – Patronizing a Prostitute
