Fire Destroys RV in Moses Lake Monday

Moses Lake firefighters responded to a fully involved motor home fire on East Broadway Avenue Monday morning just after 7:30.

When crews arrived, the RV was sitting in a vacant lot.

Lieutenant Todd Eldred said, "The RV was believed to be abandoned. Nobody was inside."

Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings. The fire was extinguished without incident after about 30 minutes. There were no injuries, and the property was eventually returned to the homeowner.

The cause is under investigation.
