Fire Off Old Vantage Highway Contained

A wildfire near Old Vantage Highway near I-90 and Silica Road was contained Sunday after burning about 15-20 acres.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office says the fire burned near The Feathers, an area that is commonly hit. Structures were threatened, but none were lost and the area is not densely populated.

A level 3 evacuation notice was issued late Saturday night to campers and climbers in the area.

The fire was listed as contained by early Sunday morning.
