Law enforcement is starting to get called out to suspected fireworks being set off illegally around the Chelan and Douglas County areas.

The Washington State Patrol and other agencies are reminding residents to be familiar with the laws in each county and city regarding where you can purchase and set off fireworks.

In Chelan County, the sales and use of fireworks is illegal in all cities and in the unincorporated areas even on July 4th.

In Douglas County, fireworks are banned in Mansfield and Coulee Dam and in the unincorporated areas of the County, but legal in some cities based on dates. Waterville permits the sales and use of fireworks beginning Monday. East Wenatchee, Rock Island and Bridgeport allow sales beginning July 1st, but setting them off can only be done the 3rd and 4th.

Grant County largely follows state law which allows sales and use beginning Monday except Moses Lake where they're banned.

Here's the full list.
