Fireworks and DUIs Dominate New Years Eve

Law enforcement across North Central Washington was busy Tuesday night for New Year's Eve.

Wenatchee Police dealt with several DUIs, but nothing paricularly out of the ordinary. They also handled 11 fireworks complaints according to their call log.

East Wenatchee Police dealt with a couple of fireworks calls, but they are legal within city limits.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office dealt with nine fireworks complaints. That matches the number of fireworks calls handled by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
