A 22-year-old Leavenworth man was rescued from the Crystal Creek drainage above Ingalls Creek Saturday after falling approximately 50 feet injuring his head, knee and ankle.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office says Tristan Parrish was attempting to reach Crystal Lake with his father, brother and a friend when he fell.

He was unable to move, and with no cell signal, his brother and friend hiked to get cell service.

Windy conditions prevented helicopters from getting to Parrish and a rescue team was dispatched.

It eventually became too dark for a rescue so, Sunday morning a Navy helicopter was deployed to hoist him out.

Parrish is in serious but stable condition.
