The national forests could be crowded with the Labor Day weekend.

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Public Affairs Officer Robin DeMario says it's important be patient as popular campgrounds will fill up quickly.

"Before leaving home, be sure to check on existing restrictions and closures. With the campfire ban in place only propane and liquid gas fuel may be used for cooking and heat."

She also recommends having multiple options in case your primary choice is full.

Remember if you pack it in, you must pack it out; and please park responsibly.
