Okanogan County Sheriff Paul Budrow has announced he will step down after three and a half years in office.

Budrow says he’s accepted a position as Chief of Police for the Town of Twisp.

In a statement, Budrow thanked residents for the opportunity to serve and said working alongside deputies and staff to strengthen public safety has been one of the greatest honors of his career.
