Pangborn Memorial Airport will see a third daily trip to Seattle after Horizon Air announced the additional flight will begin service starting June 17th.

Director Trent Moyers said the move means airlines are seeing that there is enough demand to add additional seats back into the market.

"What I'm hearing from the airline is that we're operating at full capacity. So there's demand there that we can't meet." explained Moyers, "This gets us back to where we were pre-pandemic. The hope would be we get back to where we have those four flights a day."

Moyers said he's keeping his fingers crossed on a fourth flight during the holiday season.

The third flight will run through at least August 16th. The plane will normally arrive around 4:20 pm and depart at about 5:00 pm.

Officials are optimistic they can still add service to the Bay Area and hope showing off the recent growth in the region will bare some fruit. Moyers added that the best thing they at the airport can do is keep filling the seats and aggressively meeting with interested airlines.
