The Quincy Police Department is looking for the owner of a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that crashed into a wrought iron fence Friday morning around 2:15 am.

Captain Ryan Green said the incident occurred near the corner of First Avenue Southeast and C Street Southeast, and the occupants had fled the scene.

"Both front airbags were deployed indicating that there was at least two people in the vehicle." detailed Green, "There was not a whole lot of blood, but there was definitely blood on both the front passenger and driver's seat."

Green added that neighbors heard the collision, but nobody was around by the time they made it out to the road.

The registered owner of the vehicle lives within the same 100 block of C Street Southeast. Police attempted to contact the owner, but has yet to be successful.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is advised to call Quincy Police at 509-787-2222.
