Seattle Music Startup SyncFloor Named Winner of 2021 Flywheel Investment Conference
The Flywheel Angel Network and NCW Tech Alliance awarded $255,000 to Washington State companies during the Flywheel Investment Conference Thursday.
NCW Tech Alliance Executive Director Jenny Rojanasthien says Seattle startup SyncFloor, a proprietary music licensing platform, was named the conference's winner and was given a $150,000 investment offer. Additionally, SyncFloor was offered another $50,000 if they relocated to Chelan or Douglas counties.
"With SyncFloor, you are able to purchase music for your business needs. It could be in a fitness setting, for a non-profit, for video production. They are really disrupting the licensing and music platforms. That's why they were selected by the Flywheel Angel Network; because of their unique technology and unique approach."
Iasis Molecular Sciences out of Spokane was named runner up and awarded $50,000. According to the NCW Tech Alliance, Iasis Molecular Sciences "is an advanced materials company developing and commercializing materials science-based solutions to prevent the transmission of infectious pathogens from surfaces."
Wenatchee startup PetHub won the $5,000 fan favorite cash prize.
This year's conference had 50 startups competing from across the state.
