SIU Investigation into Officer-Involved Shooting “Substantially Completed”

The North Central Washington Special Investigations Unit says they have been unable to identify the additional witnesses to an officer-involved shooting in Riverside, but that they have substantially completed the investigation.

According to the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office, reports are being compiled and forensic evidence is being sent to the Washington State Crime Lab for analysis though results may be significantly delayed.

They are still trying to interview witnesses to the shooting, and if there is anyone who hasn't talked with law enforcement with what they know about, you are asked to contact Sgt. Nathan Hahn of the Wenatchee Police Dept.
