Soap Lake Police K9 Billy Getting Armor

Soap Lake Police Department K9 officer Billy is getting a donation of body armor.

According to their Facebook page, the Department says the bullet and stab protective vest comes via the organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

The gift is sponsored by Shana Greene of Newcastle and will be embroidered with the phrase, "Honoring those who served and sacrificed."

It is expected to arrive in 8-10 weeks.
