Storm Ravages Wenatchee, but Impact Less than June Storm
Wenatchee Public Works crews are out in full force working on areas impacted by Tuesday morning's heavy storms. City Engineer Gary Owen says so far the city hasn't been impacted like it was in the previous major storm back in June.
"We got urban street flooding of course in a number of places. In Downtown there's been flooding in some businesses downtown and we're seeing what, if anything, we can do with that. We've had some problems in the Walmart on private property and some material getting out on the road. Nothing making the roads impassible."
5th St at Pierre was closed at the underpass due to high levels of water, but Owen says they are working on getting that cleared.
The flood also closed Wok About Grill.
