Structure Fire Results in Royal Slope Firefighter Transported to Hospital

Royal Slope firefighters and Grant County Fire District 4 responded to a house fire Sunday evening. A firefighter was transported to Samaritan Healthcare for heat stress and a displaced occupant of the damaged home.

According to Grant County Sheriff's Office public information officer, Kyle Foreman, the call came in at 6:15 when neighbors noticed smoke coming from the double wide mobile home at 7788 Road F-Southeast space 8. The occupant wasn't home at the time. The Grant County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
