The Grant County Health District and Washington State Parks announced over the weekend that blue-green algae was discovered at Potholes State Park in the reservoir.

Health Officials say that people should avoid all contact with the Potholes Reservoir including recreational activities, don't drink the reservoir water, keep pets and animals away from the water, and clean all fish caught in the water and discard their guts.

The State Parks says anyone who has concerns about a campground reservation can contact their customer service representatives.
