Vehicle Catches Fire on McNeil Canyon Road Saturday Night

A car towing a trailer on McNeil Canyon Road was destroyed by fire Saturday night, but no one was hurt.

Douglas County Fire District 5 crews responded to the scene a little after 8:30 and a mid-sized passenger vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.

They put the fire out before it damaged the trailer, which held another car.

The towing vehicle is a total loss.
