Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident Sends Man to Hospital

Orondo Ave. between the County building and the Plaza Super Jet was closed temporarily Thursday night when a car hit a male pedestrian.

Wenatchee Police Sgt. Tim Lykken says it's unclear if he was in the crosswalk.

"He was transported with leg injuries and a possible head injury."

Lykken says the man's condition is unclear.

"We're just investigating as if it's a serious accident."

The driver was giving a statement to law enforcement, but officers had not yet spoken with the pedestrian.
