There's now a GoFundMe page for the 23-year-old motorcycle rider from East Wenatchee who was killed in a crash on Grant Rd. last Saturday afternoon.

Raúl Aguirre-Nuñez died at the scene after the crash with an SUV.

The GoFundMe page was set up by Alex Gonzales, who became a close friend of Aguirre-Nuñez after they met while attending Wenatchee Valley College together.

"It is so amazing," said Gonzales. "There are so many people who loved Raul, so it is so awesome to see everybody who has been helping out."

The GoFundMe page has raised more than $15,000 of its $25,000 goal as of midday Wednesday. The money will be use to help Aguirre-Nuñez's family with expenses.

The public is invited to a viewing Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Chapel at 19 Rock Island Rd in East Wenatchee.

Services will be held on Thursday beginning with open casket at 10:00, with the Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 1315 8th St NE, East Wenatchee, and the burial at Evergreen Memorial Park following.
