A free virtual presentation has been coordinated by several local organizations, including the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce and SkillSource, to share local resources for small businesses.

The event is on February 11 from 9-11:30 via Zoom.

"Each of these partners that offers a small business focused resource will have about ten minutes to present on how they can help the businesses, how businesses can engage with resources," said Amanda Bobbitt, SkillSource youth career trainer.

Partners for the presentation are mostly nonprofit community based organizations or government entities. Community Foundation of NCW, North Central Educational Services District, WorkSource, Wenatchee Valley College and OIC of Washington are participating. Dr. Malcolm Butler from the Chelan Douglas Health District will also give a presentation.

"A side of our industry that isn't always shown off is our side is where we have services for businesses, very specifically funding options for businesses, training and staffing options, mental health resources," said Bobbitt. "Things like that, that also cater to the small business owner just trying to make it by."
