Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is hoping to fill positions on the Waterfowl Advisory Group and is accepting applications until January 3 at 5 p.m. The Waterfowl Advisory Group consists of citizens that advise the department on waterfowl management issues.

“We’re looking for several new applicants, with diverse backgrounds, who can present their views on waterfowl management to our agency,” said Sam Montgomery, communications manager. “We also need input on hunting regulations, hunter access as well as wetland enhancement projects.”

The new members would be appointed to serve for three year terms beginning February 1st. The group meets at a minimum of one day each year and members are eligible to be reimbursed for travel expenses to attend meetings.

Hopeful candidates can submit applications to Kyle Spragens, via email at Kyle.Spragens@dfw.wa.gov or via snail mail at Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife P.O. Box 43141 Olympia, WA 98504.
