Wenatchee Parks & Rec Plans Summer Concert Series With Individual ‘Bubbles’ for Groups

Wenatchee Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services is rolling out its summer concert series program with measures compliant with Phase 2 in place. Folks are required to register ahead of time with a 200 max cap at Centennial Park.

"A lot of people have been doing this, the circles in the grass. So we're going to be renting out 'bubbles' in the grass for families," said Sydney McElroy, recreation coordinator.

The five concerts will span over the course of roughly a month, from July 9 to August 6, and be held on every Friday at 7 p.m.

"We're super excited for the concerts to be a go this year," said McElroy. "We're in the searching process for our different bands and performers we're looking for single acts, duos or trios."

The event is still free, but registration is required for contact tracing.
