Wenatchee Valley College is moving its student services online because of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

The school made the switch Friday, although many of its in person and hybrid classes are continuing face-to-face.

Students are being advised to check with their instructors with any questions about classes.

WVC staff are offering live help through Zoom virtual assistance in a number of areas:

- educational planning

- financial aid

- veterans

- registration and admissions

- counseling

- IT and ctcLink support

- workforce grants

Students can visit the school's virtual assistance page for hours and contact information.

Enrollment at WVC has dropped about 8 percent during the pandemic, although its program (Running Start) for high school juniors and seniors to get college credit rose by almost 15 percent in the fall.
