Attempted Armed Burglary Results in Arrest of 22 Year Old Man

A 22 year old man was arrested Friday after an attempted armed robbery in Moses Lake. Our news partner, iFiberone, reports Chance Suarez was booked into Grant County Jail for first-degree robbery, assault and possession of a stolen firearm. The incident occured on Alder Street and the victim told police the suspect had pulled him into the alley with a threat to shoot him if the victim didn't hand him the cash deposit bag he was carrying. However when the victim reportedly fought back, attention was drawn and Suarez ran off when a witness came to the victim's aid. Officers located the suspect on South Chestnut Street and he reportedly had a stolen 9mm pistol in his possession.
