Broadcaster Presents the State’s Stormiest Days at Local Libraries
The broadcaster and historian, Feliks Banel, will be taking his presentation 'Storm Warning: Historic Weather in the Evergreen State' on the road to several North Central Regional library branches in December. Banel will use archival photos, radio and television clips to illustrate some of Washington's infamous storms and bleakest weather in Pacific Northwest history. Those in attendance will have the chance to share moments when they've survived being snowed in, washed out or other situations in the wake of a storm. Banel will start the tour out in Manson on December 4, Brewster on December 5 followed by Curlew on December 6 and round out the presentations in Oroville on December 7.
