Burglars Rip Off Wenatchee Computer Repair Shop Sunday

Three unidentified suspects broke into Geek Werks on Whitman Way in Wenatchee early Sunday morning around 2:00 am and stole multiple laptops and other pieces of technology.

Wenatchee Police Captain Edgar Reinfeld said the break-in follows a burglary at iRepair-IT, another computer repair shop, in January. Both cases involved three suspects as well as the thieves gaining entrance through a window.

"Coincidences rarely last the scrutiny of detectives so we'll see how it plays out, but it is possible they are related."

According to a Facebook post by Geek Werks, the suspects did not take any of the power cords for what they stole, so folks should be one the look-out for someone trying to sell new technology without a power cord. Anyone with information is asked to contact RiverCom at 509-663-9911.
