The Pybus Market Charitable Foundation is holding a poster contest for artists who think they can capture this year's theme, the "Spirit of Pybus".

A $500 grand prize will be given to the winner, with 2nd place walking home with $100.

Pybus Arts Committee member Robert Wilson said we are lucky to have a beautiful market like Pybus as a centerpiece for the cultural development of Wenatchee.

"There are bicyclists running around, there is flowers, there's a farmer's market. There's all kinds of activities. Use your imagination. Draw or paint something that you think represents the spirit of Pybus Market, the beauty of Pybus Market, and what it means to us in Wenatchee to have this wonderful place."

A print will be permanently displayed at Pybus. Prints of the work will also be made and sold to the public.

Submittals should be rectangular with portrait orientation.

Interested artists can either bring their work to Pybus Market, or they can email aspotts3@gmail.com with a high-res photo of the work.
