Car Speeding Over 100 Mph Prompts Brief Pursuit
A car chase occured after a Washington State Patrol trooper attempted to stop a vehicle clocking in around 110 mph, westbound on I90, near Moses Lake around 1 a.m. Sunday. Grant County deputies joined the short pursuit.
"Approached the Adams Road exit which is about milepost 154," said Trooper John Bryant. "It decided to take the exit at a high rate of speed..It took the exit and went on to the Frontage Road, where it went of the road momentarily, but went back on."
By that point, enough law enforcement had arrived and was able to stop the vehicle.
The driver, William Bacon, 50 years old, was booked into Grant County Jail for felony eluding and a warrant. There were no injuries.
