Chelan County Sheriff’s Office Says Sex Offender Now in Wenatchee

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office says a Level 3 sex offender is moving into the 100 block of Simmons St. in Wenatchee.

John Garcia is not wanted by law enforcement at this time, and the Sheriff's Office says the release of information is not intended to create fear.

CCSO say it is their belief that an informed public is a safer public.

Garcia was convicted of second-degree rape in January of 1992.
