Chelan-Douglas Health District Issues Guidance for Face Coverings & Vaccinated People
Chelan Douglas Health District provided direction on face coverings for those vaccinated following Secretary of Health Umair Shah's amendment of the face covering guidance.
"As far as employees and businesses go, we are still waiting on Labor & Industries to come out with their guidance on that," said Veronica Farias, health communications director. "In the mean time, we just ask businesses continue their policies that they've had established before the CDC came out with their statement. Just encouraging their customers to continue to mask."
Face coverings remain required in certain health care settings, correctional facilities, homeless shelters and schools, regardless of vaccination status.
People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the final vaccine dose.
