Chelan-Douglas Health District Takes Over Town Toyota Center Mass Vaccination Site

The Town Toyota Center state led mass vaccination site will now be handed off to the Chelan Douglas Health District for leadership. The health district is aiming to maintain the current structure that the National Guard established while leading the site.

"The biggest thing is we just want to make sure we've got continuity and we have mass vaccination open to as many people as long as we can," said Luke Davies, administrator.

Due to the reduced volume and reduced demand, the district will be shoring up units to two lanes.

Other state led mass vaccination sites are transitioning to mobile vaccination clinics in a new phase of vaccine outreach.
