City of Wenatchee Working To Fill Executive Services Director Position

The City of Wenatchee is in the process of hiring a new Executive Services Director after Allison Williams left the position to become Moses Lake's City Administrator late last year.

The city hopes to make an announcement regarding the position at some point in a couple weeks.

Mayor Frank Kuntz described the type of person required for the position.

"This is someone that not only do the department heads have to say, 'Yes, I want to work with this person,' but the mayor has to say, 'Yes, this is someone who can work with me,' and the council members have to say, 'Yes, this is someone that I trust to work with.'" Kuntz said, "This is a multi-faceted sort of person, and you just can't find those sort of anywhere."

Kuntz added that they have at least one candidate that's rising to the top.
